JustHack is a 24-hour hackathon for social change. Based on collaboration, solidarity, and empowerment, we aim to bring people together to tackle social issues by finding creative tech solutions. JustHack invites hackers, activists, students, community members, and creative thinkers to participate in building projects that will benefit their local communities.
Everyone is welcome to bring their own ideas to JustHack or to work on a suggestion put forth by a community group. We are inviting speakers and grassroots organizations to talk about the unique perspectives and needs of marginalized communities within Montreal.
Eligibility
JustHack is the place to learn about social issues and collaborate with fun, creative, and like-minded people. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, as long as you come with an open mind and readiness to learn!
Requirements
Nothing is required. If you choose to present (you're not obligated to), feel free to prepare a demo in any shape or form e.g. live demo, powerpoint, speech. Submit them on our page here after registering for our hackathon. From there we'll organize a schedule for all the demos. Please come show everybody your support!
